News:European Regions for better ICT connections - Broadband and EU action in the Recovery Plan

The European Commission is organising an EU wide event on "Broadband and the EU recovery" to take place in Turin on the 2 and 3 of April 2009. The event will enable ICT industry, national and regional authorities, national regulators and relevant Commission directorates to discuss issue at take for the forthcoming EU broadband strategy. The conference will also serve as an information day for management authorities of EU funds to exchange good practices and get acquainted with the process for investing EU budget allocated to broadband infrastructure within the context of the recovery package.
