[edit] Categorizing an article

To include an article in a category, simply place a link to the category in the article's body: [[Category:Category name]]. The convention on this wiki is to put categories at the very bottom, separated by newline.

If you want to just include a link to a category, use a colon before the namespace: [[:Category:AMI@Work]] gives Category:AMI@Work.

[edit] Creating categories

If you categorize an article in a non-existing category, it will be automatically created. However, it will display in red in the Categories section of the article: this is because no page has been created for the category itself.

When you create a category in this way, please do not forget to click on the red link and

• add a description
• place the category within a category itself

If the new category doesn't belong in any of the existing ones, use the top-level category, Category:Categories, as a parent category.
